from Insanity by In Absentia

'Insanity' is the first new track from In Absentia since 2012. The band is back to their early roots combining lyrics inspired by gothic horror with energetic electronic body music. Let the insanity loose on the dance floors!

Heart pounding
Limbs aching
Your mind turns
Your body burns
They are coming
They are screaming
Shapeless phantoms
Out from the shadows
Born in the darkness
Raised by the madness
Of your stressed mind
Must leave them behind
The wraiths of the past
You have to move fast

Faster (faster)
Faster (faster)

Chorus 1:
Avoid the ditch
Run for the bridge
Towards the light
Shining bright

Chorus 2:
Escape the fight
An insane fright
The terrible sights
Seen in the night
Avoid the ditch
Run for the bridge
Towards the light
Shining bright

Your vision blurs
Your world hurts
They are reaching for you
Only one thing to do
Run for your sanity
Run towards liberty
The cracking reality
Crumbles so quickly

Chorus 2

Faster (faster)
Faster (faster)

The mist closes in
You know what it brings
Creeping, crawling
Lurking, writhing
They catch up with you
Only one thing to do
