Following up on the single ‘Insanity’ released on Tinnitorturous earlier this year, In Absentia continues the exploration of energetic gothic themed EBM, this time in the sinister world of the undead. In Absentia celebrates their 30 years anniversary in 2020 and is currently working on a new album called ‘Reanimated’ to be released in 2021.

Moving through dark landscapes
Of glass and steel
Inhabited by blurry shapes
Mindless and without will
We are dwelling in the shadows

Our minds began to necrose

Founded in 1990 In Absentia was part of the early Danish electronic body music
movement.
After some years in hiatus the band is now back with new singles and new albums being produced. Old material is also being revisited and dusted off.
